CMC Technology Group is a Maine owned and operated communications business that originated as "Central Maine Communications" a structured cabling company in 1995. In 1997 CMCTG gained its first affiliation with Sprint Products group and ActiveVoice voice mail systems. In 2004 and 2005 CMCTG acquired a number of communications companies including Taylor Networks, Integrated Communication Services and NorthStar Communications. Since then CMCTG has grown into a multimillion dollar company with over forty employees and three distinct lines of business, Telecommunications, Data Networking and Structured Cabling.

The communications industry is rapidly expanding and more and more businesses are in need of the technology as it becomes available, including new advances in telephone, voicemail systems, Internet access, as well as video conferencing and networking infrastructure.

The opportunities and enhancements to new technologies are endless. CMC has positioned itself to handle any issues that face businesses today whether it is the installation of a new VoIP telephone system or network with hundreds of connections or relocation a single jack for a new employee.

Mission Statement

Keeping our new and existing customers happy with continued service and treating them as if they were a first time caller is the goal of CMC Technology Inc.

Over the last 10 years CMC has worked with us to manage the move from analog phone lines to SIP Trunks, as well as upgrade our Internet Bandwidth to a Business Class Service. We currently have a Managed Service in place with CMC Technology Group that covers all of our Voice/Data infrastructure, so we can make one call to resolve any issue.

The City of Augusta and the Augusta School Department is pleased and impressed with both the methodology and quality people we dealt with throughout our IP Phone Project. Their knowledge and experience was extremely helpful as they guided us throughout our system replacement process. This was a difficult process that CMC made as painless as possible.
